Anjali Mukherjee says exercising on an empty stomach can help you burn extra calories

In today’s world, finding time for fitness can be difficult. Between demanding work schedules, family responsibilities, and social commitments, it’s easy to put exercise on the back burner. But fitness doesn’t always have to involve rigorous gym sessions. Nutritionist Anjali Mukherjee shared valuable insights on Instagram about four simple principles that can help you lose weight and live a healthier life without the need for extensive training sessions. With just three months left until the new year, she’s encouraging her followers to make the most of these months by making their health a priority. Her motivational caption reads, “3 months until 2025. Make it count! Fitness tips. Your journey to a healthier you starts now!”

4 principles of fitness from a nutritionist

Exercise on an empty stomach (it’s easy!) – Anjali Mukerjee says this will help you burn extra calories. Other benefits include improved mental clarity and focus, increased human growth hormone (HGH) production, increased autophagy (cell regeneration), improved digestion, and reduced bloating.

Train multiple muscle groups whenever possible (like Surya Namaskar). The main benefits of this efficient and time-saving workout are increased calorie burn, improved overall strength, stability, coordination and balance, and reduced risk of injury by strengthening supporting muscles. Changes your heart rate across the board (like interval training) – Nutritionist Penn’s caption says, “Keep your heart rate guessing at regular intervals.” Other benefits include cardiovascular health. and improved insulin sensitivity, improved calorie burn and weight loss, enhanced anaerobic endurance, and reduced inflammation and oxidative stress. Exercise intensely and vigorously (strength training) – Anjali Mukherjee adds, “Increase your strength and give it your all.” This also helps improve bone density, boosts metabolism and fat loss, and improves mental health, which in turn improves the quality of your sleep.
