UNMC’s 2024 Wellness Fair will be held for medical center students, faculty and staff on Tuesday, Oct. 8, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Sorrell Center Commons.
The event promotes eight dimensions of health: emotional, spiritual, intellectual, physical, environmental, economic, occupational and social. Exhibits are sponsored by campus organizations, departments, community businesses, and nonprofits. A list of participating vendors is available online. Participants can collect wellness information and be eligible to win giveaways, door prizes, and more.
UNMC Regional Pathology Services supports your physical health by offering blood test wellness panels for both men’s and women’s health.
Self-registered appointments can be made online and patients can choose which tests they would like to undergo. Select October 8th as the registration date. Walk-in participation will also be accepted on the day of the health fair.
Patients must fast for 12 to 16 hours before blood is drawn. Payment will be made by credit card at the time of blood collection.
