Kayla Barnes Lentz, 33, and her husband Warren Lentz, 36, have embraced a unique lifestyle aimed at extending their lives well beyond the average lifespan. What is their purpose? To live a healthy life until the age of 150. This ambitious initiative is built around biohacking, a growing movement that integrates health optimization, advanced treatments, and rigorous daily living.
Even before their marriage, Kayla, a wellness entrepreneur, strived to share her passion for longevity with Warren. She didn’t just ask about his personality and goals. She asked for detailed information about his health, biology and fitness level. “On the second phone call, I asked about his lab,” she told The Independent in an interview, explaining how this approach helped her choose a compatible life partner. The couple now believe that biohacking can not only extend their lives, but also help them stay healthy for as long as possible.
Their goals differ from some in the biohacking community. “I don’t want to live forever,” Kayla emphasized. “I want to live as long as my husband.”
strict daily routine
Meticulously designed to optimize both body and mind, Couple’s Routine begins the moment you wake up. Warren is usually the first to wake up, but both prioritize morning training and sunlight. “We love to start our day with pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) therapy,” Kayla explained. This clinical-grade device helps you prepare for tomorrow. Afterwards, they exercise together and take a morning walk to soak up the early morning sun. They believe this is essential for mental clarity and physical health.
Breakfast is homemade and organic, in keeping with our commitment to clean eating. “After training, we eat breakfast together,” Kayla said, stressing the importance of consistency in diet.
Afternoon Wellness Practice
Mid-afternoon sunbathing is part of their schedule, with afternoons providing more sunlight and exposure to nature. On days when Warren works from home, she incorporates cold plunges (quick soaks in icy water to stimulate the body and increase circulation). The couple takes turns using a hyperbaric oxygen chamber at home. This hyperbaric oxygen chamber is thought to strengthen lung function and promote healing. By allowing the body to absorb more oxygen. “We can only accommodate one person at a time, so we take turns,” Kayla explained to The Independent. I also use a NanoVi device that claims to repair cell damage during the day.
Evening rituals and early bedtimes
The evening is a carefully planned relaxing time. The couple enjoys an organic dinner at 5:30pm that Kayla always prepares. Then take another walk through the nearby hills before starting your evening relaxation routine. You can prepare for sleep by using the sauna and switching the lights in your home to red lights at sunset. I’m in bed by 9pm to ensure I’m well rested.
Preparing for childcare
While living a healthy life to age 150 is one goal, the couple is also preparing for another important chapter: raising children. Kayla has spent years optimizing her body for pregnancy, and Warren has helped her do the same. “We know that the health of parents affects the health of their children,” she said. Kayla will undergo extensive medical tests during her pregnancy and hopes to collect new data that may be helpful to mothers-to-be.
However, their children are not exposed to all of the technology they use. “We want to simplify their lives,” Kayla said. “You don’t have screen time, you don’t play outdoors, you don’t spend time in nature.” She also teaches children about the benefits of well-grown food and the powerful impact it has on health. said he was excited about it.
The couple’s pursuit of longevity is part of a larger biohacking movement that includes celebrities like Brian Johnson, who has made headlines for his anti-aging techniques. Kayla and Warren are not interested in such extreme measures, such as blood transfusions from young donors, but believe that a strict routine will give them the best chance of living a long and healthy life.
Their journey may seem extreme to some, but for Kayla and Warren, every step of the way is necessary to fight aging and live life to the fullest for as long as possible.
