Canadian company announces SSR-W offers innovative approach to nuclear waste reduction

Moltex and NB Power plan to deploy SSR-W, Watss, and GridReserve units at the Point Lepreau nuclear power plant site.

A new study has demonstrated the “unique ability” of Moltex Energy Canada’s Stable Salt Reactor Waste Burner (SSR-W) to consume spent nuclear fuel, the company announced.
