EqualSpace, a unique workspace and incubator located in Newark, recently announced an exciting lineup of speakers, work sessions, social activations, and hands-on startup competitions as part of its annual Newark Tech Week conference . Held October 14-18 with sponsorship and participation from more than 30 companies and organizations, Newark Tech Week is the city’s most comprehensive and free multicultural technology convention.

Audible, a leading provider of premium audio storytelling and Newark’s flagship institution, is spearheading the effort to attract innovative companies to Newark through its Business Attraction Program. “Newark Tech Week showcases how our city is paving the way for the next generation of innovators,” said Global Head of Urban Innovation at Audible, a supporter of Newark Tech Week. said Aisha Grover. “Audible is excited to continue supporting Newark’s entrepreneurs and fostering connections, collaboration, and progress in this rapidly evolving digital environment.”

October 14th

Newark Tech Summit (5 p.m., Junction @ Gateway 1)

The event will feature speakers, fireside chats, and panel discussions from the influential leaders and visionaries driving innovation in Newark.

Jazzy Tech Mixer (8:30 p.m., Dutch’s)

This jazz festival mixer brings together entrepreneurs, technology enthusiasts, and industry leaders for a night of networking and live music.

October 15th

Panel: Level Up (1 p.m., Seton Hall Welcome Center)

An immersive session about the exciting world of collegiate esports! As part of Tech Week, this interactive talk explores how universities are integrating esports into their athletic programs, building competitive teams, and improving student A deep dive into the rapidly growing esports industry, focusing on what’s driving participation.

Newark Demo Day (3 p.m., Newark Art Museum)

Co-sponsored by Audible, New Jersey Innovation Institute (NJII), Newark Alliance, and Lair East Labs, this pitch competition brings together the technology industry’s brightest minds to showcase their innovative ideas. Guest judges will provide expert commentary, and additional exhibition booths will provide networking opportunities among investors and innovators.

Mixer: Codes & Cocktails (5 p.m., Tin June)

A fun and relaxing evening hosted by the creators of the popular Code & Coffee meetup.

October 16th

Meetup: Participate as a founder (1pm, HAX)

Lace up your sneakers and mix technology and fitness, hosted by Gymble. This run is more than just a workout, it’s an opportunity to network, collaborate and find inspiration.

Equal Pay Alchemy (2PM, HAX)

Mixer: Innovative Networking (3PM, HAX)

VC Hot Seat events are designed to draw attention to venture capitalists and provide a unique platform for venture capitalists to share their experiences, insights, and vision for the future of technology entrepreneurship.
