The popular fitness company officially opens its first New Jersey location in Hoboken. Barry’s Boot Camp secured space right on the Hudson River.

The brand, which specializes in high-intensity workouts, posted on social media over the summer that it was officially coming to Hoboken. Bally’s Bootcamp declined to specify the exact location within Mile Square City, but rumors have been circulating about a downtown office building.

Hoboken Girl, citing a “source close to the project’s developer,” claims the gym will open in the space previously occupied by Jos. A. Bank at 119 River Street. Barry’s Bootcamp itself has not officially confirmed the report, but has already created a Hoboken-specific page on its website for customers who wish to sign up for updates.

Barry’s Bootcamp was founded in 1998 and currently operates more than 80 studios across the United States, but none currently in New Jersey. The company has not yet announced a potential timeline for when the Hoboken outpost will be operational.

With each of their arrivals, the company will join other popular fitness brands like SoulCycle and (Solid Core) that have set up shop in Hoboken in recent years.
