FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – A career and resource fair hosted by the Allen County Human Resources Office is scheduled for the end of October.

The event is open to the public and will be held in the Appleseed Room at Memorial Coliseum on October 30th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The fair and parking are free.

Pre-registration is not required.

It will be an opportunity for job seekers and area residents to connect with county government employers and service providers, according to a news release.

Employment opportunities include positions in Planning Services, the Department of Health, the Sheriff’s Department, and other county departments. The fair will also provide information about county resources, services and programs available to the community.

“Allen County is committed to supporting job growth and connecting local residents with valuable resources and opportunities,” said Jeremy Rice, Allen County Human Resources Recruiter. “Whether individuals are looking for employment, training or career advancement, this event provides the connections essential to their success.”

Some departments may require on-site interviews, so participants should bring multiple resumes and dress professionally.
