In an interview published this morning on “The Chuck Toddcast,” billionaire entrepreneur Mark Cuban, who supported Trump in 2016, criticized the former president as unfit for the job.

“He can be a real estate agent, he can be a TV guy, he can be anything he wants, and I don’t care,” Cuban said. that. ”

The Trump campaign did not immediately respond to NBC News’ request for comment.

Despite his support for Harris, Cuban said he has tried to be “as apolitical as possible” on the issue and stressed that he is neither a Democrat nor a Republican. When she first entered the 2016 presidential race, she initially supported Trump, but said, “As I got to know him, I realized he wasn’t who I thought he was.” Ta. Cuba later supported Clinton.

Mr. Cuban said he supported Ms. Harris because of the future of our children, and cited the need to address climate change as one of his concerns. Later in the interview, he took aim at Trump.

“I believe the character has a destiny. What I’m looking at is how he’s done business with people,” Cuban said. “As an entrepreneur, I know what he’s been doing,” he said, adding, “He tightened up the number of contractors.”

Cuban specifically cited testimony from longtime Trump president Michael Cohen in the New York hush-money trial, in which he said the former president would short-sell money to traders.

“Because, to me, that’s the worst thing you can say about an entrepreneur or a businessman. I wasn’t paying vendors, because no one wants to do business with you.”

“That’s Donald Trump,” he said. “That’s what you need to know about Donald Trump: He’s going to put his wallet above everything else.”
