For the third year, Delta College will host a free community trick-or-treat fall festival, offering not only candy and fun family-friendly activities, but also details about Delta’s Career Technical Education (CTE) program.
“Fierce Fall Fest in CTE Land” will be held on Saturday, October 19th from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Dolores Huerta Plaza and other locations around Delta Air Lines’ Stockton Campus, 5151 Pacific Avenue in Stockton will be done. Parking is free.
Hosted (or ghosted) by Delta College’s mascot, Fierce the Mustang, the event features a free bounce house, petting zoo, crafts, train rides, costume parades and contests, and, of course, no shortage of candy. No.
At the same time, Fierce’s Fall Fest showcases college career programs, some of which are proven to double or even triple students’ earnings after graduation. Delta Air Lines has a number of CTE programs that lead directly to high-paying, in-demand jobs in your community.
This event is the latest in a series of efforts to spread the word about the university’s programs, services and wide range of career opportunities.
“We are excited to bring back Fierce’s Fall Fest for the third year in a row. This is a great way to enjoy fun fall activities with your family while learning about the affordable career programs available at Delta University. It’s an opportunity,” said Dr. Heather Malloy, program manager for DARTE, a Delta College-based program that supports adult learners. “Whether you’re just starting out in life, want to reinvent yourself for an entirely new career, or want to learn new skills to make more money in your current profession, Delta University has the place for you. There is.”
Delta’s career education programs range from technical and vocational to agriculture, business, law, arts, health care and more. Explore potential career paths at deltacollege.edu/explore.
