The Department of Mathematical Statistics will be holding a poster presentation on Friday, October 11th from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm in the 3rd floor atrium of Cudahy Hall.

This event will showcase the research results of 12 graduate student researchers who participated in last summer’s Computational Science Summer Research Fellows Program. The program provides funding for graduate students to conduct summer research from a variety of fellowships, including Northwestern Mutual Data Science Institute Fellows, Wehr Fellows, Swokowski Fellows, and Computational Science Fellows.

The selection process is competitive and based on the quality and relevance of the student’s research proposal, which will be considered by a committee. Fellows benefit from hands-on research experience, mentorship from faculty, and opportunities to present their research results at events such as this poster presentation. The 12 speakers are listed below.
