Photo from Google (/caption) Neenah-based Black Duck Partners has submitted a proposal to open a Planet Fitness Center at 7199 South 76th Street in the Franklin Center Shopping Center. The 18,300-square-foot building previously housed an Office Max store until Galleria Furniture opened in June 2020. Galleria, which currently occupies this building, also has another location at 8411 W. Capitol Drive in Milwaukee. Franchisee Black Duck Partners operates 125 Planet Fitness clubs in 12 states, with 20 clubs in the Milwaukee area, according to city documents. Another Planet Fitness location in Franklin is at 6529 S. 27th St. If approved, the Planet Fitness store at Franklin Center Shopping Center will be open 24 hours a day, like other stores nationwide. The interior will undergo a complete renovation, including the locker rooms and spa facilities, according to city documents. Galleria Furniture could not be reached for comment.
