Town of Amherst Public Health Director Kiko Marin announced that the town will be offering COVID-19 and influenza vaccines at the Bangs Community Center this fall. Two vaccine clinics are being organized in partnership with the Northampton Department of Health and Human Services through a Community Public Health Excellence Grant. The vaccine is available to all Massachusetts residents six months of age and older. The COVID-19 vaccine offered is from Pfizer, and the influenza vaccine is offered in routine and high-dose doses. Vaccinations are free, but please bring your insurance card if you have one. No one is turned away because they don’t have insurance.
Vaccine clinics will be held at the Bangs Community Center, Room 101, 70 Boltwood Walk, Amherst, on the following dates and times:
October 21st (Monday) 5:00pm – 7:00pm November 13th (Wednesday) 2:30pm – 5:30pm
Registration is strongly encouraged as walk-in availability is limited. Register here: https://home.color.com/vaccine/register/northampton
