Nicholls State University Career Services held an All-Major Career Fair in the Bollinger Student Union Ballroom on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
More than 70 employers from more than 24 companies were represented. The list also included graduate school at Nichols College.
University Graduate Studies Coordinator Grant Ordoin said the all-major career fair went “very well” and many students expressed “interest in pursuing a graduate degree”.
“Mrs. Career Services Director Katherine Mabile and her team always do a great job of planning and executing. It’s an event that our office looks forward to participating in each year,” said Ordoin. .
To prepare for the upcoming career fair, students will dress business casual, download the Handshake app, follow the advice of Director of Career Services Catherine Mayville, research employers, polish their resumes, and practice their elevator pitches. Must be.
