Trump campaign sues UK Labor Party over election interference claims
Labor is accused of election interference in a formal complaint filed by the Trump campaign.
Lawyers for Donald Trump have filed a complaint with a US watchdog agency, accusing the party of providing illegal foreign campaign contributions to support Kamala Harris’ campaign.
The complaint to the Federal Election Commission calls for “an immediate investigation into this blatant foreign interference.”
The Trump campaign has not provided any evidence of any legal violations.

It also referred to a Telegraph report that Sir Keir Starmer’s chief of staff Morgan McSweeney and communications director Matthew Doyle “attended a convention in Chicago and met with Ms Harris’ campaign team”.
U.S. law prohibits funding, contributions, or expenditures from foreign nationals in any election.
However, volunteers are allowed to participate in campaigns “as long as they are not compensated for their services by someone else.”
Sky News understands that Labor Party staff working on the US election campaign will have to take annual leave and pay their own travel expenses.
British Conservative Party leaders, particularly former prime minister Liz Truss, have also attended high-profile party events, including July’s national party conference.
Mr Truss responded to X’s accusations, saying Labor was doing “huge damage to Britain’s place in the economy”.
“It’s incredibly arrogant and stupid to meddle in a U.S. election.”
