Attending college is a big decision and depends on a variety of factors, including personal goals, career aspirations, and financial considerations.

Research shows that higher education drives economic mobility and well-being in California. In recent years, the state has seen increases in both college enrollment and completion rates at state universities such as the University of California and the California State University System.

Many professions require a college degree for entry-level positions or promotions. In some fields, universities provide the expertise and training needed to excel.
