BLACKSBURG – After snapping a three-game winning streak in the ACC, Virginia Tech football sat down with the media to talk about their 21-6 victory over Georgia Tech. The Hokies were led by starting signal caller Kyron Drones and a solid defense that did not allow a touchdown. Head coach Brent Pry took the stage to begin the press conference, followed by defensive coach Sean Quinn and linebacker Kelly Lawson. Read below for more quotes about the Homecoming Game.

Head Coach Brent Pry

About the defense that doesn’t allow touchdowns:
“Yeah, they’re playing really hard. They’re trying really hard. That’s half the battle. I thought our fits were good, our key reads were good. “That’s important. Against the group coming into this game, I thought they ran the ball really well, they had great tailbacks. We got some points, we just did what we needed to do to play good defense and keep the points to a minimum, and if we can do that, we’ll have a good chance to win the game. ”
