There aren’t too many changes to the Virginia Tech Athletics’ depth chart this week, which will likely be good news for the Hokies with injuries against Georgia Tech.
Arguably the two best players on the Hokies’ offense, Beishl Tuten and Xavier Chaplin, went down with injuries against Georgia Tech. In fact, Chaplin fell twice, but was saved by a trainer off the field.
Beichl Tuten and Xavier Chaplin are likely to play Saturday against Syracuse, and both appear on the unofficial roster, as coach Brent Pry announced during his weekly press conference Tuesday afternoon. .
The biggest change on the depth chart this week was Jaden Keller emerging into an MLB starting role. Keller and Sam Brumfield were co-starters at the position last week, but Keller made the only start at linebacker alongside Caleb Woodson.
