United Arab Bank participates in Ru’ya Careers UAE 2024

UAE – As part of its ongoing efforts to attract young Emirati talent, United Arab Bank (UAB) has announced its participation in the upcoming Ru’ya Careers UAE 2024, an annual fair that provides job opportunities and training to young high school and university graduates and experienced UAE national job seekers. The career fair, which will be held from 24 to 26 September at the Dubai World Trade Centre, is one of the leading recruitment, skills development and networking forums to develop young Emirati talent.

During the exhibition, the bank will be inviting various job vacancies on the spot to talented talent in the UAE who meet the job requirements.

Commenting on the bank’s participation in Ru’ya Careers UAE 2024, Hind Al Attar, Chief People Officer at UAB, said: “UAB is committed to actively supporting the UAE government’s Emiratisation initiative and has devised a recruitment strategy aimed at attracting, training, developing and retaining more Emiratis at the bank. Our participation in Ru’ya Careers UAE 2024 reflects our commitment to foster a dynamic and diverse workforce. By engaging with young Emirati talent, we aim to provide them with meaningful career opportunities and professional development. UAB’s participation in Ru’ya Careers UAE 2024 for the second consecutive year is in line with the bank’s strategy to strengthen its Emiratisation efforts.”

Nadra Al Ansari, Head of Emiratisation at UAB, commented: “We are excited to be participating in such a prestigious job fair as Ru’ya Careers UAE 2024 for the second year, which will showcase diverse career paths and allow us to interact directly with talented UAE graduates who are eager to build their futures with us. During the job fair, representatives from the bank will be on hand to explain what work entails at UAB and introduce applicants to the various opportunities.”

As part of its Emiratization strategy, UAB places special emphasis on recruiting, training and developing young Emirati graduates through its “Tomouh” program, a workplace initiative aimed at supporting, elevating and empowering UAE nationals’ talent in the workplace. The program provides on-the-job training, skills development and leadership development in their respective fields.
