The Wilkes-Barre City Health Department will hold a free flu vaccine clinic for city residents in October, according to Mayor George Brown’s office.
Residents must provide proof of residence.
The quadrivalent influenza vaccine is designed to protect against four different influenza viruses and can be given to anyone over the age of 6 months. The high-dose influenza vaccine is available to people 65 and older.
