Georgia Tech is off this week, but will return to Bobby Dodd next Saturday to take on Duke, who could enter next weekend’s game undefeated.
The bye week is a good time to see how a team is performing, as long as it’s not too early, and one way to do that is by looking at PFF (Pro Football Focus) grades.
Looking at Georgia Tech’s offense through the first five games of the season, a few things stand out very clearly. Haynes King has had a very good season so far, with a very good passing game and very good pass blocking up front. Heading into the weekend, Georgia Tech is the only Power 4 team in the country thus far without allowing a sack. Georgia Tech, on the other hand, isn’t running the ball as much as last year.
Below are the PFF grades for each player on the Georgia Tech offense during the bye week. Snap numbers are in parentheses.
