CASPER, Wyo. — To make fall respiratory virus vaccines more conveniently available to the community, Walgreens will be offering influenza, COVID-19 (COVID-19) vaccinations in Casper on Sept. 28 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. COVID-19), respiratory syncytial virus, and pneumonia vaccines. Offered at 1071 CY Ave.

The flu shot is available for children ages 3 and older. For younger children, the family should see a pediatrician. People age 75 and older and adults ages 60 to 74 who are at high risk for severe RSV can receive the RSV vaccine.

Vaccination clinics will be staffed by Walgreens expert pharmacists who can provide additional guidance on which vaccines are right for each individual this season.

Fall respiratory virus vaccines will be free to most insurance plans, and in some states to Medicare Part B and Medicaid patients. Eligible uninsured patients will receive a voucher for a free flu shot, further strengthening Walgreens’ commitment to ensuring equitable access to vaccines and reducing the spread of vaccine-preventable diseases. I will do it.

To prepare for your vaccination clinic visit, you should:

Make an appointment – Visit Walgreens.com/ScheduleVaccine or call 1-800-Walgreens. Both are available in Spanish and English. Complete your vaccination consent form digitally before your appointment and it will be automatically sent to your pharmacy, saving you time during your appointment. Use our pharmacy’s digital check-in feature to confirm your arrival without having to wait in line. Please wear loose-fitting clothing and bring your insurance information.

More information about getting fall respiratory vaccines at Walgreens can be accessed online here.
