More than 30 colleges will be participating in Illinois Valley Community College’s 51st Annual College & Career Night on Wednesday, Oct. 9, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the gym.
High school and college students, parents, and community members considering their college options can speak with representatives from a variety of colleges, including IVCC, about programs and transfer options.
This event brings together a variety of colleges and information in one convenient location overnight to help students and their families personalize their college experience before arriving on campus, said Tom Quigley, Director of Enrollment Services. spoke.
“We want to help students and their families expand their options for higher education and careers, both within and outside the state,” Quigley said in a news release. “And no matter what direction your academic career takes, IVCC can always fit somewhere in your journey.”
This event brings together prospective students who can expect to learn information about applicant and admission requirements, transfer information, fees, tuition, scholarship and financial aid information, university services, student support and campus life, and majors.
The participating universities are: Carl Sandburg University. Southern Illinois University Carbondale College. Keizer University; Dominican University; Missouri University of Science and Technology. St. Ambrose University; Bradley University; University of Alabama; North Central College; University of Illinois; Marian University of Wisconsin.
