On Saturday, more than 200 Bridgewater employees participated in the Global Citizen Festival, coming together to celebrate the importance of partnership and meaningful action. During the program, CEOs Nir Bar Dia and Nomzamo Mbatha spoke about the World Bank’s IDA21 replenishment mission, which aims to lift 250 million people out of energy poverty by 2030. He emphasized that Bridgewater is working with Global Citizen and Harris General Partners to assist. They also discussed Bridgewater’s latest research. and the upcoming Economic Development Conference, which Bridgewater will co-host in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, from October 9-10.
At the Economic Development Conference, Global Citizen, Bridgewater, Harris General Partners, and the World Bank will gather with international leaders to discuss the important role of cross-sector collaboration in shaping Africa’s future.
