Several local leaders are entering the fourth quarter of 2024 in new roles.
In the fundraising space, values-based investment organization ImpactPHL welcomed a new CEO, Kafi Lindsay, and nonprofit funding firm GreenLight Philadelphia said goodbye to executive director Felicia Rinier.
Additionally, Gloria Bell, an advocate for women in the tech industry, announced her new role as Director of Pathways and Community for AnitaB.org.

Local advocate Gloria Bell joins AnitaB.org
Gloria Bell, founder of Women in Tech Summit, continues her passion for connecting women in tech and is the new Director of Pathways and Community at AnitaB.org.
“I look forward to working with our membership and workforce development team to support this incredible organization that connects, inspires, and mentors women and nonbinary people in technology,” Bell wrote on LinkedIn.
Nonprofit AnitaB.org, named after computer scientist Anita Borg, connects and supports women and nonbinary people in the technology industry. The organization’s annual conference, the Grace Hopper Celebration, will be held this month in Philadelphia.
Mr. Bell is also the chair of the board of Philly Startup Leaders, a startup support organization that is working with AnitaB.org in preparing for the conference.
ImpactPHL welcomes new CEO with government and banking experience
ImpactPHL, a nonprofit that connects people and organizations to values-based investment opportunities, has hired Kafi Lindsay as its first CEO.
Cory Donovan previously served as Executive Director of ImpactPHL, but the organization has elected to replace that role with CEO. Co-founder Donovan continues to provide leadership as senior vice president of community engagement.
Mr. Lindsey previously served as Director of the City’s Office of Strategic Partnerships and before that as President of the Impact Strategies and Solutions Group. She has experience working in city government and private banks, and previously worked on community-focused investment projects.
“The ability of impact investing to make meaningful progress is transformative,” Lindsay said. “We are excited to build on this momentum, strengthen our connections with local communities and key investment opportunities, and spearhead further growth and innovation to create a more vibrant and equitable future for our region. .”
Founded in 2016, ImpactPHL works with investment funds, family offices, and high net worth individuals to help them identify investment opportunities that align with their values.
Executive Director leaves GreenLight Philadelphia
Felicia Linier announced she will be leaving GreenLight Philadelphia this fall after leading the organization for the past three years. She will join Comcast’s philanthropy team, the company said in the announcement.
GreenLight Philadelphia is the local arm of the national GreenLight Fund, which provides funding to nonprofit organizations. The organization was founded in Boston in 2004 and expanded to Philadelphia in 2012.
During his tenure, Greenlight Philadelphia supported HopeWorks, a technology talent development organization, and the Fountain Fund, which provides low-interest loans and financial guidance to formerly incarcerated people.
“I have loved ‘renting’ the Philadelphia site for the past three years,” Linier said. “And as I turn it over to the next leader, I am confident that I will leave the site in an even stronger place and ready to continue delivering.”We have made a positive difference in the Philadelphia community. . ”
