A national technology education organization recognized Hall County School District leaders for their efforts to improve learning opportunities for students.
The Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) has selected five national finalists for 2025 Administrator of the Year and recently named Hall County’s Rhonda Samples as one of the winners.
ACTE’s press release lists Rhonda Samples as Hall County’s Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE) Champion, with more than 40 years of dedication to the field. Samples, former CEO of Lanier College Career Academy and current executive director of CTAE, has empowered middle school and high school students through career pathways, work-based learning, and student organizations. She supports the Georgia Department of Education’s efforts and works with the Hall County Chamber of Commerce, local universities, businesses, and community organizations to connect the workforce with students and educators.
Throughout her career, Samples has held numerous leadership roles in the Hall County School District, starting as a marketing education teacher. She holds an Ed.S. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Educational Leadership and Marketing, a Master’s degree in Marketing Education, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Fashion Merchandising.
According to ACTE, this award recognizes a school, district, county, state or federal organization that has demonstrated leadership in ensuring teacher and student success and has made significant contributions to innovative, unique and effective careers and education. The award recognizes top level administrative career and technical education (CTE) professionals. Technical education program. Sample has been named the 2025 Region II Administrator of the Year. The national winner will be announced at the ACTE Awards Gala on December 4th.
