Chay Calbo is the new director of EducateNKY, a local nonprofit dedicated to the education ecosystem in Northern Kentucky that ignites all passionate and dynamic minds and improves outcomes for all children and their families. President and CEO.
Mr. Choy began his career in county government in his hometown of Prince George’s County, Maryland, as chief of staff to a county legislator. He worked for several state organizations, most notably the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) as a policy expert, and directed federal affairs on a variety of issues. After serving in the national service, Calvo served on the leadership teams of two education nonprofit organizations. At the Seed Foundation, he partnered with communities across the country, including Cincinnati, to explore innovative education options, and led external impact at Rocketship Public Schools. and strategic growth. From 2004 to 2015, Chay was elected mayor of Berwyn Heights, Maryland, a suburb of Washington, D.C., and earned master’s and bachelor’s degrees in history from the University of Wyoming. Chey and his family just moved to Northern Kentucky from San Jose, California.
Meredith Rozanski, CPA, is Vice President of Operations for the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce, a five-star accredited chamber of commerce and regional economic development entity.
In her current role, Meredith is responsible for the operational and financial activities of the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce.
