ORLANDO, Fla. — The CDC is recommending people 65 and older get another dose of the coronavirus vaccine this season.

The agency says the second dose of this vaccine should be given six months after at-risk patients receive their first shot.

The recommendations also suggest that people with weakened immune systems may receive additional doses if their doctor approves.
