CFD Research began the week Monday with the opening of its newest expansion, an addition to the Joel B. Everett Engineering Test Center in Hollywood, Alabama.
The expansion, which broke ground in August 2023, consists of a 19,000-square-foot facility that now houses more than 28 additional offices, larger meeting room space, a second high bay area, and confidential meetings. I am planning to do so. and storage areas.

“The test center is currently upgrading one of the nation’s largest hypersonic test assets with new capabilities that will accelerate the development of new hypersonic technologies,” Elliott said. “The center also researches, develops and demonstrates nominal technologies that will revolutionize ground test infrastructure and provide new capabilities never before possible.”
The latest expansion expands CFD Research’s footprint in Jackson County to 74 acres, including more than 31,500 square feet of high-rise bays, offices, conference rooms, and confidential space.
