A new fitness studio and gym has opened in the Sunrise Village Shopping Center at the corner of Sunrise Boulevard and Madison Avenue.
Club Studio Fitness has been under construction for much of 2024 and only moved operations from its satellite preview location to its new gym location in late August. In early September, staff said the club had conducted a “deep clean” in preparation for welcoming new guests and members. The gym officially reopened to the public on Monday.
When Sentinel staff visited the facility on Friday, several members were already using the facilities. The club has a large, open training area, as well as a recovery area with several massage chairs for members only. The “recovery lab” also offers compression therapy, spot therapy, hydromassage, cryotherapy and red light therapy.
In addition to an open workout space with a variety of equipment, the club will feature several studio classrooms with daily classes including yoga, hot pilates, high-intensity interval training, low-impact fitness classes, boxing and weightlifting classes. General manager Brandon Garcia previously told the Sentinel that all classes will be identical between the company’s locations, but the rest of the center will be uniquely designed for each city.
Club studio operations manager Jessica Kurt said the club plans to open a cafe on-site in the coming weeks to serve healthy food and drinks to members.
The new fitness center bills itself as a state-of-the-art facility and offers several premium services for members, with membership starting at $129 per month. Membership also gives access to other facilities, including Fitness International-owned facilities such as LA Fitness, City Sports Club and Exporta Fitness.
