Award-winning fitness phenomenon Ritual One is coming to Houston. The fitness center has developed a cult following in Dallas, and the Houston location marks its first expansion outside of the metroplex.

The gym, scheduled to open in December, will occupy a 3,400-square-foot space in Uptown Park between Juiceland and The Rustic (1121 Uptown Park Blvd. Suite 9). This state-of-the-art studio offers a menu that combines Power Sculpt, Hot Pilates, Power Yoga, Inferno Flow, and Inferno HIIT, all performed in an infrared heated studio. Guests can expect to combine traditional yoga poses with sculpting and HIIT to maximize their physical and mental potential.

Top-of-the-line locker rooms, luxurious bathrooms with showers and toiletries, and a carefully selected retail section with men’s and women’s selections further round out the center’s amenities.

Ritual One is open seven days a week, and class schedules will be posted closer to the opening date. A limited number of founding memberships will be offered prior to opening.

Co-founders Karen McGraner and Nicole Preston, along with Houston owner Yagmar Griffin, are excited to bring the brand to Houston. Founded in 2020, the fitness center was built on the duo’s decades of teaching and practicing power yoga. Ritual One uses cutting-edge technology to bring added health benefits to movement, offering a next-generation approach to the wellness experience. The class generates heat ranging from 95 degrees to 102 degrees during training.

“We felt that Ritual One was what was missing in the fitness industry,” Preston said in a statement. “By combining infrared radiation, which is a great way to detoxify toxins, with functional movement, we create the ideal environment to guide individuals to peak performance and ideal health.”

“We spent several years researching heaters and ionization systems to create a state-of-the-art system in the room that promotes and maximizes detoxification and heats the body from the inside out,” McGraner added. Our programs, combined with our customer service, provide the best experience for every customer from the moment they walk in to the moment they leave. ”

Infrared heating systems help promote detoxification by increasing blood flow, increasing heart rate, boosting metabolism, burning calories, burning fat, and stimulating the cardiovascular system while reducing pain and inflammation.
