District career programs seeking input from businesses

The Michael Berry Career Center is seeking business and community partners to help ensure the district’s career programs meet the needs and expectations of local industry.

The center is part of Dearborn Public Schools, and its career programs are available to approximately 5,700 students at Fordson High School, Edsel Ford High School, and Dearborn High School.

MBCC specifically seeks partners in the following areas: Automotive Technicians, Business Careers, Construction, Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement, Culinary Arts and Hospitality, Education and Teaching Careers, Health and Medical Careers, Coding Cybersecurity and Information technology including digital design.

The next Career Center Advisory Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, October 23rd at 4:30 p.m. Attendees will review the district’s current career programs, learn about Dearborn Academy, and share industry trends and needs.
