Dr. Radha’s success story is rooted in her perseverance. Her mother, Vidya Devi, sold ice cream to fund her education. Despite these challenges, Dr. Radha became the first local girl to make her mark in the field of cotton research. She currently works as an assistant professor at Shurini University and is grateful for the support of the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) and university leadership.
Radha completed her schooling from Shirai and later graduated from Portmore School, Shimla and completed her master’s degree from Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Central University.
