EngineeringUK has launched EUK Education, a new brand providing support and resources for the education and careers community to encourage more young people to get into STEM and diverse career paths.
The engineering and technology sector employs 6.3 million people in the UK, accounting for 19% of total employment, but the sector faces significant skills shortages and labor shortages. We need more young people from all backgrounds to create a diverse workforce, recognizing that there is a wide range of roles in STEM fields and different routes to these careers.
The new EUK Education site is a ‘one-stop shop’, bringing together STEM programs previously hosted by the charity EngineeringUK, as well as the best free STEM education and career resources.

Tomorrow’s Engineers Week, EUK’s annual festival of engineering, science and technology, will once again be held from November 11th to 15th with the theme ‘Powering up your passion’, and will show that engineering is more than just helmets and construction. , show young people that problem solving and innovation is. , unleash your creativity and make a difference in a wide range of careers. The week-long campaign, which connects young people with STEM employers, offers resources ranging from a film about engineers, Day in the Life, to panels where young people can chat with engineers about their jobs.
