Discoverers of South Lake’s past

Have you ever thought about delving into your family’s history? This course is designed to guide you to the right places to research and highlight important elements to look for. What prompted our ancestors to immigrate to America? Their motivations can be a powerful catalyst for us to uncover more about them. Understand the flow of research and master the necessary steps! This course includes an introduction to four research websites, real-time demonstrations, and useful research software. Topics covered include reasons for immigration, basic ancestry research planning, exploring research websites, and an overview of research software.

Please arrive at Cooper Memorial Library early on November 6th to attend the class. Classes will be held in room 221 at 1:00 p.m. Walk-ins are also welcome. Alternatively, you can visit our website and register. http://PastfindersSLC.org I look forward to seeing you at CML in the Pastfinders Family History Research class. Becoming a family historian is an amazing journey about yourself. These classes are standalone, so you can attend any session without having to attend previous sessions.
