Joey Miuccio has emerged as a powerhouse in the world of fitness content creation, inspiring his community with his relatable videos and commitment to a healthy lifestyle.

In Sports Illustrated: The Athlete Lifestyle, Miuccio gives a behind-the-scenes look at her busy life as an airline pilot while also maintaining her fitness goals and health.

Detailing his daily routine, Miuccio said: “It changes a lot depending on what[his]flight schedule looks like.” But he typically goes for a run “first thing in the morning to finish my cardio or marathon training, then eat breakfast and get work done. Then I start my weight training session and film it.” After that, I drink a protein shake, edit and post my content video for the day, then do some work and eat dinner around 8:30pm. Usually, I only have calories and protein in my meals. I typically eat about 3000-3500 calories and 180-220 grams of protein each day, which helps me build strength and muscle and prevent me from running into a calorie deficit from marathon training.

Miuccio’s content is rooted in authenticity, as he candidly shares the ups and downs of his fitness career with his followers, including personal milestones, struggles, and changes. “Just because you’re on a plane doesn’t mean it’s going to be easy to achieve these fitness goals. This experience really taught me to be adaptable and to persevere no matter what. I had to work out and sometimes I had to work out really late. It’s all completely consistent,” he said.

His focus goes beyond aesthetics and also emphasizes the importance of overall well-being and mental health. He recalls: “Fitness has always been a big part of my life. I grew up playing every sport under the sun: baseball, soccer, basketball, American football, wrestling, surfing, and even bowling! But in high school So I focused on wrestling, and that really taught me how to work hard in the sport.”

Miuccio frequently features collaborations with fellow fitness creators, creating a sense of community for viewers. She also shares practical advice on marathon training, recovery, and maintaining consistency, ensuring her followers have the tools to build a sustainable routine.
