Anya Nicholson, a coach and famous bodybuilder, focuses on her mental and physical strength. “Monday motivation and dues paid. 🤘🏼 This year, through its trials and tribulations, has taught me that I am stronger than I think and capable of achieving my goals regardless of adversity. No matter how far the road may be or how much work it may seem, if you strive to achieve your goals, you can do it. And more importantly, you can do it with a strong mindset that will help you achieve your dreams. It all starts with the team. #CountYourBlessings,” she said on Instagram. Here are some of the habits she prioritizes to stay healthy.

She continues to grow and is celebrating it. “#transformationtuesday shines brighter 🌱✨One of my favorite parts of this journey is the growth I’ve gained through years of practice. If there’s one thing bodybuilding has taught me, it’s that “It’s the discipline to do the hard things every day. It’s the effort and belief in the process that pushes you to the next level of your version,” she said on Instagram.

In a video of her training her glutes, she posted on Instagram, “Thursday night glute workout 🍑💪🏼.” Amy Koch, COMT Methodist Physical MPT, says, “Strong glutes are important for proper pelvic alignment, propulsion when walking or running, and even standing on one leg. It also supports your lower back and helps prevent knee injuries.” Therapists in this article from bestcare.org.

She’s working out her upper body, as seen in these video clips on Instagram captioned, “Strengthen your delts and get back to work while applying feedback.” According to the Mayo Clinic, “Strength training can increase bone density and reduce the risk of osteoporosis by putting stress on your bones.” Keep getting fit like Nicholson!

She maintains a positive mindset. “Set the vibe 🖤💪🏼 #tunnelvision It feels like years since I last got ready and stepped on stage and embraced this journey and everything that was to come. What I love about bodybuilding One thing is that it’s a great teacher of “delayed gratification,” she said on Instagram.

“Never stop reinventing yourself 🖤💪🏼,” she said on Instagram in a series of clips of her lifting weights and strength training at the gym. According to the Mayo Clinic, “Strength training can improve your quality of life and improve your ability to perform everyday activities. Strength training can also protect your joints from injury. Strength training can also improve your balance. It can help you maintain your independence as you get older. ”
