Celebrity fitness trainer Melissa Capp recently highlighted the importance of back exercises using weights on her Instagram. While demonstrating the I, Y, and T exercises, Mr. Capp shared insight into how these exercises target often overlooked areas of the trapezius muscle. Mr. Capp emphasizes the interconnectedness of muscle and joint health, focusing on the complete coordination of muscles from the head to the hips, emphasizing stabilization and proper joint function. Her approach goes beyond aesthetic fitness and emphasizes the importance of overall strength and injury prevention. This philosophy reflects her deep understanding of biomechanics and her commitment to promoting balanced fitness routines that increase the body’s resilience and functionality.

As seen from her Instagram posts, Cap is seen doing ITY to stay in shape. In her caption, she explained why this exercise is so good. “Want to know why this exercise is so humiliating? The key is in the execution. Did you know that the trap (trapezius) muscle runs up two-thirds of your back? When you think about muscles, it’s just ‘think about the fibers at the top. This muscle runs from the back of your head to the end of your spine and also attaches to your shoulder blades. This means it helps stabilize your shoulders. ”

Cap revealed in the caption of his Instagram post that he likes to work out his entire joint at once. “When we exercise, we almost always try to put our bodies in the most stable position possible, so that we can safely lift as much weight as possible and build muscle. , many of the programs online will help you strengthen your back and shoulders.” They are often trained individually with the aim of making the deltoids bigger, which is fine, but makes them more resistant to injury. If you want a very balanced program, you’ll have to train the entire joint, but from a biomechanical perspective, it makes sense. We’ve talked about this a few times, but the shoulder (articular humerus) is not a very stable joint. Seventeen different muscles all work together to maintain that stability. How the shoulder blades rotate around the ribcage is also important. Spinal mobility affects shoulder mobility. Printing machines – Why not consider expanding your horizons? ”

Cap talked about the importance of hip flexor training in the caption of this Instagram video. “Did you know that your hip flexors can actually feel ‘tight’ and weak at the same time? It’s strange to think about strengthening muscles that already feel tight, but if that’s your problem… Might be a solution. Generally speaking, as a society we choose to stretch our hip flexors when we sit too much and don’t do enough strength training, but this is only temporary. It’s just relaxation. 🏻I specifically chose these exercises because they also require a lot of core strength. If you know my training style, you know I do isolation exercises. You know you’re not the biggest fan. This is a key to preventing lower back pain, especially since one of the hip flexor muscles (iliopsoas) attaches to the lower back. This explains why your hip flexors are tight, so it’s important to stay active and avoid prolonged periods of sitting. Strengthening your hip flexors will have long-term benefits, and your whole body will thank you for it.”

Cap shared a video of himself doing pull-ups on Instagram. She captioned it, “Good things take time. If you don’t take the time to build the lats needed for pull-ups, you’ll end up using smaller muscles to compensate. Over time. “It can lead to neck pain, tension headaches and shoulder pain,” he added. I have a problem. ”

Cap believes in adjusting your workouts a little at a time. She talked about this in the caption of this post. “I love this game. Just the slightest adjustment can dramatically change the difficulty or ease of an exercise. We like to play more because we think it will help us improve faster. We often want to do more reps, more weight, more time. But we rarely stop to look at the quality of the way we’re doing it. One of those tools is video feedback. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve found myself looking completely different than what I expected. If you can’t fulfill yourself, ask a friend or coach to help you move the way you want. ”
