Take steps to protect yourself and your loved ones from COVID-19, influenza, and other respiratory illnesses. Somerville Health and Human Services is holding free vaccine clinics throughout the city throughout the fall and winter.

Vaccinations will also be offered to residents without health insurance. If you have health insurance, please bring proof of insurance coverage. We strongly recommend pre -registration. Walk-in reservations are limited. Please see below to find a vaccine clinic near you and help keep Somerville safe and healthy.

Vaccine to be provided:

Influenza (influenza) (for everyone 6 months and older) High-dose influenza (for people 65 years and older) Pfizer New Coronavirus Infection 2024-25 Updated Vaccine (for people 19 years and older) Moderna New Coronavirus Infection Disease 2024-25 updated vaccine (for 18 years and under)

Please note that the clinic may not be able to honor the wishes of the vaccine manufacturer. Current vaccine availability by age group is reflected in the Vaccines Offered subheading. Influenza and COVID-19 vaccines are available at the city clinics listed below (see table).

Vaccines are also available at many pharmacies and other health care providers. Find a provider on vaccination.gov. Please note that pharmacies and other locations may charge fees for services.

Note: Starting September 26, U.S. households will be able to order four free coronavirus tests for at-home testing. These tests are provided through the USPS. To order a test, visit COVIDTEsts.org.
