The 44th edition of GITEX Global, the world’s largest technology event, returns to the UAE with Expand North Star. The scale of GITEX 2024 has expanded tremendously. The event will be held in two locations across 40 halls in conjunction with Expand North Star, the world’s largest startup and investment gathering.

The global race for AI and digital superiority
AI will be at the center of focus at GITEX 2024, with more than 3,500 companies presenting their latest innovations in AI, data, and cloud infrastructure. Abu Dhabi companies such as Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC) and G42 Group will showcase the latest advances in AI alongside international giants such as Adobe, Google, NVIDIA, Microsoft and Oracle. These companies will play an important role in the AI market, as global AI spending is expected to reach $2.7 trillion by 2032.
For those who want to dig deeper into AI, GITEX offers over 120 hours of in-depth AI-focused content. Visitors will explore discussions about AI-powered transformation in industries such as healthcare, finance, and education. The discussion will also highlight challenges and opportunities in data storage and cloud computing.
Meanwhile, GITEX will host the largest data center symposium in history. This is in response to the increasingly important role of data storage in the explosion of AI. Expand North Star, the world’s largest startup and investment show, is hosted by Dubai Digital Economy Chamber and hosted by DWTC and will be held at Dubai Harbor from October 13th to 16th. With over 1,000 small businesses and 350 startups in attendance, the event is designed to highlight the next big topics in AI, fintech, blockchain, and more.
Expand North Star’s startup pitch competition, Supernova Challenge 2.0, is also back, with the winner receiving a share of the $200,000 prize pool. Cybersecurity Initiatives — A $10 Trillion Threat
AI isn’t the only buzzword at GITEX 2024. Organized by the UAE Cybersecurity Council, GITEX Cyber Valley highlights focus on cybersecurity as global cybercrime costs are projected to reach nearly $10.5 trillion annually by 2025 will be done.
