Green Career Week | Sow seeds for your future

Seed Your Future, a national movement that promotes horticulture and inspires people to pursue careers in the green industry, has announced the start of Green Careers Week starting this week. Running from September 30, 2024 to October 4, 2024, the event connects industry professionals with educators, students, and aspiring gardeners to showcase the wide range of rewarding careers in the green industry. Green Career Week is designed to bridge the gap between students and professionals, providing hands-on opportunities to introduce the next generation to careers in horticulture, floriculture, landscaping, urban agriculture, environmental conservation and more . This year’s event will feature in-person and virtual engagement with businesses, schools and youth organizations across the country, highlighting exciting opportunities and pathways to green careers.

Industry involvement: why it matters

Now, more than ever, the green industry needs passionate and skilled people to lead the way on sustainability and innovation. Green Career Week provides a unique opportunity for industry leaders to step up, share their knowledge and mentor the next generation of green professionals.
