There is one week left until voting day for former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris.
President Trump will hold a rally Tuesday night in Allentown, Pennsylvania, about 90 miles northwest of Philadelphia. The former president is aiming to win the Keystone State next week after winning Pennsylvania in the 2016 presidential election but losing in 2020.
Harris will be in the nation’s capital on Tuesday. She plans to deliver her campaign’s “closing argument” on the Ellipse. The Ellipse is the same location where President Trump gave an impassioned speech nearly four years ago before a mob of his supporters stormed the nation’s capital on January 6, 2021.

Former White House chief of staff John Kelly has claimed that during his time in office, he praised Nazi German dictator Adolf Hitler, who was responsible for the murder of six million Jews. Kamala Harris called the former president a “fascist” after Kelly also said the Republican candidate “fits the general definition.”
The former president hit back at the criticism last week.
“It’s terrible,” the former first lady added on Tuesday. “He’s not Hitler.”

Senate poll summary: Democrats narrow in Michigan, Pennsylvania
In the Great Lakes state, Rep. Elissa Slotkin (D-Mich.) has a two-point lead over former Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Mich.), according to a new Emerson College poll. The poll was conducted from October 25th to 27th.
The conservative group American Greatness also released a poll conducted in Pennsylvania from October 22nd to 26th, showing Pennsylvania Democratic Sen. Bob Casey beating Republican challenger David McCormick by 3 points. exceeded.
Both polls are within the margin of error, meaning the two candidates could be effectively tied. The Emerson College poll has a margin of error of +/- 3 percentage points, and the American Greatness poll has a margin of error of +/- 4 percentage points.
Both of these reflect ongoing polling patterns in states where Democrats have a very narrow lead.

George Bush’s daughter Barbara Bush campaigns for Harris
Former President George W. Bush, 78, said he would not get involved in this year’s divisive coin-toss election.
However, her daughter Barbara Bush, 42, supports Harris. According to People magazine, she spent part of last weekend campaigning for vice president in Pennsylvania.
“It was exciting to join my friends from the Harris-Waltz campaign in Pennsylvania this weekend and meet with voters,” Barbara Bush said in a statement to the magazine. “We look forward to them moving this country forward and protecting women’s rights.”

Harris rejects Trump’s demands for retaliation

Harris addresses claims she is losing support from black men
Harris, in a live interview Tuesday morning on “The Breakfast Club” radio show featuring co-host Charlamagne the God, said she was not directly speaking about black men or the issues that matter to them. He dismissed the claim.
“My brothers didn’t say that,” Harris said, noting that she spoke to black men during recent stops in Philadelphia and at rallies supporting her.
“Especially black men in the rallies have been saying to me recently, ‘Don’t ask me that, you’re making such a noise and they’re stopping you.’ We’re here to support you.” she said.
In an October poll conducted by The New York Times and Siena College, 70% of black men said they would vote for Harris, while 20% said they would choose Trump. 10% were unsure or refused to answer. This is down from the 87% of Black men who supported President Joe Biden in 2020.
“Black men are no different than any other voter, and we have to earn their votes,” Harris added in the interview. “And I think part of the challenge of this perspective and this story was to suggest that somebody has a black man in their pocket. No, we have to get the vote. That’s why I I’ve been talking to people.”

Steve Bannon is released after serving 4 months in prison
Steve Bannon, the former White House chief strategist under the Trump administration, was released from a Connecticut prison on Tuesday, one week after Election Day, after serving a four-month sentence.
Bannon was jailed in July for contempt of Congress after failing to comply with a subpoena from the House committee investigating the January 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol.
He is the host of the podcast “War Room,” which is popular among Trump supporters and has millions of listeners. Since Bannon’s incarceration, his podcast has featured guest hosts, including Republican Rep. Chip Roy of Texas.
Bannon made false claims on his podcast about the 2020 election, including that it was influenced by voter fraud. Trump has made similar false claims about voter fraud that affected the 2020 election, but those claims have been rejected by courts.

Archbishop of San Juan of Puerto Rico asks President Trump to apologize for Hinchcliffe’s comments
In an open letter, Puerto Rico’s Archbishop of San Juan Roberto O. González Nieves called on President Trump to “reject” comments by comedian Tony Hinchcliffe that Puerto Rico is a “floating island of garbage.” Hinchcliffe spoke Sunday at a rally for former presidents at Madison Square Garden in New York.
