President Donald Trump sent President Vladimir Putin a coronavirus test at the height of the pandemic, according to a new book by veteran Watergate journalist Bob Woodward. The former president reportedly had seven conversations with the Russian leader after leaving the White House.
The Trump campaign called the story a “fabrication” and called Woodward “crazy and deranged” and a “sneaky story.”
Meanwhile, Vice President Kamala Harris met with co-hosts of ABC’s The View on Tuesday morning to discuss the campaign and the Medicare proposal to cover home care for the elderly.
The Democratic nominee faced a media onslaught when she appeared on CBS’ 60 Minutes on Monday and was pressed about her economic plans, U.S. aid to Ukraine and Israel and her experience as a gun owner.
Harris also appeared on Howard Stern’s radio show, gave an extensive and lengthy interview, and later appeared as a guest on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.” Her running mate, Tim Walz, also appeared on “60 Minutes” and appeared on Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night show.

Trump and Harris campaign insiders speak frankly about their concerns about the election: “No one is convincing anymore”
In 27 days, Americans will go to the polls. However, it remains unclear whether Kamala Harris or Donald Trump has an advantage in the Byzantine electoral system that determines the next US president.
The latest poll of battleground states by the nonpartisan Cook Political Report shows Ms. Harris leading Mr. Trump by 2 points in Arizona. Trump has a 2 point lead in Georgia. Harris leads Michigan State, Pennsylvania State and Wisconsin by three points, one point and two points, respectively.
The Democratic candidate also holds a one-point lead in Nevada and is tied with President Trump in North Carolina, but no Democratic candidate has endorsed him since Barack Obama first ran for president in 2008. This is a state that has not.
All of these contested states show Ms. Harris well within the margin of error, essentially making it a statistical tie everywhere. That makes the race for each candidate to win the 270 electoral votes needed to claim victory extremely difficult.

Howard Stern: Harris calls President Trump ‘unserious’ but says he will be ‘very serious’ in next term
Stern criticized Trump for posting on social media that he “hates Taylor Swift” after the pop star endorsed Harris.
“How can we have that kind of mindset…she doesn’t agree with his politics…and he *hates* her?” Stern says.
“Donald Trump is a dishonest man, and the consequences if he becomes president again are very serious,” Harris said.

Howard Stern: Harris asked about Biden’s resignation
Stern asked Harris what she thought about President Joe Biden withdrawing from the 2024 race in favor of her.
“History will show that it was one of the rarest moments of presidential courage,” she responded.
As for where she was when she received the news, as she previously said on The View: “It’s a Sunday afternoon and I’m at home in my workout clothes. My niece and her husband and her two daughters are also with us.”
Stern also asked what she would say to people who don’t think a woman can be president.
Harris replied: “Listen, I’ve been the first woman in almost every position I’ve ever held. So I believe that both men and women support female leadership. That’s my life experience and , that’s why I’m running for president.”
