HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A new technology that could have a dramatic impact on manual workers across a variety of industries is nearly launched in Hawaii.
Servco Pacific is partnering with German Bionic to bring Apogee Exoskeleton to the islands.

The exoskeleton itself weighs just over 15 pounds and has the ability to support the wearer while lifting, walking, and even lowering heavy objects.

Chung says the exoskeleton could be transformative not only for industrial workers, but also for caregivers who are tasked with transporting patients on a regular basis.
