Virginia Tech’s injury-plagued run will continue in Week 9 when the Hokies take on the Yellow Jackets. P.J. Prioleault remained off the roster for the second week in a row, and Reis was replaced by Schick, who still feels the absence of Reis Gannam at the left guard position as the veteran Bob.
However, there were some key changes to the depth chart this week.
Kelvin Gilliam, who was named a starter last week along with Aeneas Peebles, has returned to a co-starter role at defensive tackle Wilfried Peene. Josh Fuga then moved up the depth chart to back up Aeneas Peebles. The depth chart isn’t always chalky, but Brent Pry will likely remain a rotational tackle on the defensive line.
Another big change to the depth chart this week was Jaden Keller being named a co-starter alongside middle linebacker Sam Brumfield.
Here is the entire unofficial depth chart for the Hokies.
