BLACKSBURG – On Friday night, the Hokies (7-10, 1-6 ACC) lost to North Carolina (14-2, 6-1 ACC) in a digpink pt. 1 match.

Jordan Hallman led the Hokies with a score of .857 (6K, 0E, 7TA) and five total blocks, marking his 15th game of the season with three or more total blocks. Jasmine Robinson had a match-high total of six blocks, five assists, one solo, five kills, and one ace. Ece Yildiz had 15 receptions, three digs and recorded his first career ace. Leandra Mangal Duran secured double-digit digs and receptions for the fifth straight game, recording 13 receptions, 10 digs, and three service aces. Haley Pierce had a great performance with 14 kills, 12 perfect receptions, and 2 block assists. Victoria Wahlgren had 27 assists, including three block assists, one ace, and nine digs. Sarah Malinowski had four block assists and had four kills. Tech totaled 32 kills, 30 assists, 32 digs, 20 blocks and seven aces.
