Indian health adviser fired in New York over sex party revelations

Jay Varma, an Indian-origin doctor and former New York City COVID-19 czar, was criticized for lying under oath when he testified that vaccination was the only way to stop the spread of the coronavirus. exposed to The controversy further escalated when hidden camera footage surfaced showing Varma bragging about attending drug-fueled sex parties during the pandemic.

Dr. Jay Varma, who served as senior health adviser to former Mayor Bill de Blasio and led New York City’s pandemic response, revealed in a secretly recorded conversation that he attended drug-fueled parties during the pandemic. admitted that he had done so. The New York Post reported that the confession was made to an undercover operative working for conservative podcaster Steven Crowder’s Mag Club.

“I had to be sneaky about it in a way…because I was running the entire coronavirus response in the city,” Varma said.

In a newly released video, Varma confessed that natural immunity against the virus is as effective as vaccination. “It makes no difference at all…everyone is exposed to the virus. Whether you’re exposed to the virus because you breathed it in or you got injected with it. It’s the same immune response,” he said. , the NY Post reported.

An edited clip of hidden camera footage recorded between July 27 and August 14 in New York was released by Steven Crowder on Thursday. However, the Post has not reviewed the entire unedited recording.

In multiple lawsuits challenging the COVID-19 mandate, Mr. Varma has given contradictory testimony, stating that “the COVID-19 vaccine does not apply to people who have previously been infected with COVID-19. “It has been shown to provide greater protection against reinfection.”

City Councilwoman Joanne Arriola (R-Queens) accused Varma of perjury, claiming he lied under oath. She emphasized that his false testimony led to mandatory vaccinations, which negatively impacted many New Yorkers.

“While Dr. Varma swore that vaccines are the most effective way to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus strain, the video footage shows that there is actually a difference between vaccination and natural immunity,” Arriola said. I personally admit that it didn’t happen.” It was a complete perjury that cost thousands of people their livelihoods, and he must be held accountable for his actions. ”

Jay Varma has not yet publicly addressed the allegations, but previously described the hidden camera footage as “spliced, cropped and taken out of context.” He was recently fired from his position at SIGA Technologies after it was revealed that he attended drugged sex parties during the pandemic.
