Negril, Jamaica – Personal finance luminary and creator of the popular podcast “Journey to Launch” Jamila Suffrant will be running her first half marathon at the 2024 Reggae Marathon in Negril, Jamaica.

Known for her work helping thousands of people achieve financial freedom, Suffrant’s marathon participation is not only a personal fitness challenge, but also a personal fitness challenge for her debut book, Journey to Financial Freedom: Step by Step. It also commemorates the first anniversary of the publication of Step Guide. To achieve wealth and happiness. Released in December 2023, the book has become a guide for many seeking practical steps towards financial independence.

Suffrant is a 41-year-old Jamaican-American. She lives in Brooklyn, New York with her husband and three children. She became a well-known figure in the financial independence movement. Her work has been featured on BuzzFeed, ESSENCE, CNBC, and Business Insider. Her journey to launching her podcast has garnered over 4 million downloads. Reggae Marathon 2024 Race Options

The Reggae Marathon is a globally recognized event, attracting runners from over 25 countries each year. The Reggae Marathon, which will be held from December 6 to 8, 2024, has grown not only as a premier running event, but also as a cultural festival. Best of all, it combines Jamaican music and hospitality with world-class competition. This event has a variety of racing options. You can choose from a half marathon, 10k, or the new 5k race. These options are aimed at participants of all levels. Marathon races will only be offered virtually.

Race Director Alfred “Flano” Francis expressed his excitement for Sfurando’s participation, noting how her story of perseverance and empowerment aligns with the spirit of the Reggae Marathon. “Jamila’s journey is one of resilience and growth, which is exactly what we all strive for – pushing boundaries to achieve our personal goals.”

For Souffran, this race is also a return to home. Born in Jamaica, she immigrated to the United States as a baby but maintains a deep connection to her Jamaican roots. “Running the Reggae Marathon is more than just a race. It’s a celebration of my heritage and everything I’ve strived for in my personal and professional life,” she said.

The Reggae Marathon is a great combination of fitness, culture and fun. Reggae music plays every mile. A beach party to celebrate the end of race day. This event attracts attention from all over the world. This is one of the most unique races on the international running calendar.
