The LA Fitness gym at the Dulles Town Center shopping mall in Sterling has announced it will close next month.
Gym owners began warning members that their last day of business would be Wednesday, Nov. 27, the day before Thanksgiving.

A sign posted at the front desk confirmed this announcement, with a representative informing that the membership at that location would be transferred to Herndon LA Fitness, located at 494 Elden Street.
In addition to the Herndon location, L.A. Fitness locations in Ashburn and Leesburg are not going anywhere and will be an option for members, he said.
There’s no word on what will happen to the large space the gym occupies at the mall. The entrance is located on the outside of the mall, between Dick’s Sporting Goods and Cheesecake Factory Restaurant.
