DETROIT, Oct. 1, 2024 (Globe Newswire) — Henry Ford Health and Ascension Michigan today officially launched a newly combined organization to serve Detroiters, Michiganders, and the caring community. , strengthened our shared commitment to all who seek the best, results-driven health care. This joint venture will dramatically impact the health and wellness of the communities it serves, improving outcomes, access to care, and experiences. Under the leadership of President and CEO Bob Riney, Henry Ford Health currently employs approximately 50,000 team members at more than 550 facilities across Michigan. There are 13 acute care hospitals. three behavioral health facilities, including two world-class addiction treatment centers; State-of-the-art orthopedic and sports medicine facilities. Multiple cancer treatment facilities, including the Bridget Harris Cancer Pavilion, Henry Ford Health’s premier hub in Detroit. There are more primary care options than ever for patients and families across the region.

Acute care hospitals currently part of Henry Ford Health include: Ascension Genesis Hospital. Ascension Macomb Oakland Hospital, Warren Heights and Madison Heights campuses. Ascension Providence Hospital, Novi Campus and Southfield Campus. Ascension Providence Rochester Hospital; Ascension River District Hospital. and Ascension St. John’s Hospital. These hospitals’ affiliated treatment facilities and Ascension Brighton Recovery Center are also included. The site has been renamed and rebranded to “Henry Ford Health,” and patients and team members will see this branding on temporary interior and exterior signage as early as today, and in the coming days.
