KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Montana Western moves up one spot to No. 6 in the latest NAIA Football Top 25 poll released Monday.

The Bulldogs, who were ranked No. 7 last week, defeated the Bulldogs, who were No. 1 at the time. Montana Tech won 27-21 in a key Frontier Conference game on Saturday. Western is 4-1 on the season and 2-1 in the Frontier Conference.

Meanwhile, tech companies fell from 12th to 15th place in this week’s poll. The Odiggers are currently 4-2 overall and 2-2 in the conference.

Frontier also includes No. 10 Southern Oregon (5-1 overall, 2-1 Frontier) and No. 12 University of Idaho (5-2, 3-1 Frontier) in the rankings. Both teams moved up three spots in the voting last week with SOU’s 54-14 win over Rocky Mountain College and C of I’s 52-27 win over Arizona Christian.

No other Frontier teams are ranked or receive votes, but Dickinson State University (ND), a future Frontier member and current member of the North Star Athletic Association, is ranked No. 22 .

Kaiser (Fla.), Grand View (Iowa) and Indiana Wesleyan held firm in first, second and third, while Dort (Iowa) and St. Thomas (Fla.) took fourth and fifth. View the complete survey.
